Planning a Three Month Family Roadtrip

Getting the Jitters

Well the count down is happening whether we like it or not! Having been in denial for some months, the shocked exclamations from well travelled friends of; 'What! You haven't even got a camper trailer yet!?' have started to give me the jitters!

There's last minute and there's LAST minute and it's not like we're leaving next week! But hey, we do have a pretty long list of hardware to obtain, cars to modify and it would help if we had a an idea of where we were going!

The Savannah Way

Okay, okay, we DO know where we're roughly heading, at least the general direction! The track is called the Savannah Way and there's a whole web site dedicated to it http://www.savannahway.com.au/. The options for route customisation are extensive, and we really have to make some decisions before we are on the road.

P.S. Camper trailer deliberations may be solved this weekend after we hit Perth's Caravan and Camping show...have a feeling bank account may also suffer a hit!
